INTRODUCTION

This company was established in November 2002 and started accepting business in April 2003. New Reinsurance Company (NewRe) is a registered Reinsurance company in Zimbabwe authorized to write all non-life insurance business.

VISION

To be the preferred reinsurer in its operating markets, offering high technical expertise and corporate finance know how for insurance companies.

MISSION

To carry out the vision through employing highly qualified staff with international exposure and maintaining exposure through business relationship with stakeholders of high international capacity. This includes operating with a high solvency ratio and providing NewRe’s clients with corporate advisory services and Alternative Risk Transfer solutions and ensuring  that the vision is sustained by a highly motivated staff.
